Jakob Flachberger started sailing the optimist at the age of eight together with his friend, who now is his helm on the 49er, Keanu Prettner. Since then, he sailed mainly in the classes Zoom8, Laser Radial and now Jakob is campaigning for the olympic games in the 49er. His greatest achievement so far is his Vice Junior Worlds Medal in the 49er. In his spare time he likes to sail the Moth on his lake at home.
